Activate Your Mind - READ!
Where: All Stanislaus County Library Branches

Teens can sign up for the Summer Reading Program. This year's them is "Activate Your Mind - READ!" Teens age 13 - 18 will have the opportunity to track their reading on a bingo card to win prizes. Bingo cards can be picked up at any Stanislaus County Library branch. The Summer Reading Program encourages individuals to not only lead physically active lifestyles, but to also engage their minds through reading.

Duct Tape Craft

Teens can make unique items with duct tape. Books will be displayed and available for checkout.

Where: Modesto Library
When:  Wednesday, June 12
          1:00 p.m.

Tweens and teens ages 9 through 18 can participate in a paper airplane derby and learn tactics and teamwork through playing fun Wii games.

Wii Game Day
Where: Oakdale Library
When:  Monday, June 17
          3:30 p.m.

Teens can learn tactics and teamwork through playing fun Wii games.

Button Making Craft
Where: Turlock Library
When:  Monday, June 17
          3:00 p.m.

Teens can make unique buttons to pin on their backpacks or bags. Books will also be displayed and available for checkout.

Tween/Teen Magnet Craft
Where: Denair Library
When:  Tuesday, June 18
          12:00 p.m.

Tweens and teens can make magnets with marbles and bottle caps. Books will also be displayed and available for checkout.

Teen Craft
Where: Oakdale Library
When:  Thursday, June 20
          3:30 p.m.

Teens can make unique items with duct tape. Books will also be displayed and available for checkout.

Teen Movie Night
Where: Patterson Library
When:  Wednesday, June 26
          4:00 p.m.

Teens can watch the Marvel animated film, "Iron Man: Rise of the Technovore." This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Patterson Library.

Free Knitting and Crocheting Classes
Where: Waterford Library
When:  Wednesdays 
          3:00 p.m.
