Stop in anytime this month to make a keychain or bracelet of your design.  Choose from a variety of colorful string and add ultraviolet reactive beads.

Perler Bead Craft
Where: Ceres Library
When: Thursday, September 3
           3:30 p.m.

Make unique designs using fusible Perler Beads.  Bring your imagination.

Button Craft
Where: Oakdale Library
When: Wednesday, September 9
           3:30 p.m.

Make your own personalized buttons to add flair wherever you need it.  Use your own images or browse through our collection of magazines.

Minecraft Papercrafts
Where: Ceres Library
When: Thursday, September 10
           3:30-5:00 p.m.

Children will create their own Minecraft  inspired building blocks! Geared towards older children due to the fine-motor skills required to cut and put the blocks together.  

Pirate Party
Where: Waterford Library

Yo-Ho me hearties! Join us for fun pirate crafts and activities. Be there or be prepared to walk the plank! ARRR!

Origami Craft
Where: Riverbank Library
When: Wednesday, September 16
           3:30 p.m.

Children are invited to learn to do Origami at the library. Origami is the Japanese art of folding paper. Several designs will be taught. Origami books will be available for check out.  

As Seen on Pinterest
Where: Turlock Library
When: Wednesday, September 16
          7:00 p.m.

Join us the third Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the Turlock Library as we make popular arts & crafts as seen on Pinterest. This month we will relax with coloring pages. This class is recommended for ages 14 and older. Registration is required. Space is limited. Please call 664-8100 to register. Pinterest is an online tool for collecting and organizing things you love. You do not need to be familiar with Pinterest to attend.

Pirate Day

Readers Arrgghh Amazing!  Celebrate all things pirate with Pirate Day at the Keyes Library. Children can play pin the eye patch on the pirate, make pirate ships and parrots, and pose as a pirate in pictures. Pirate books will also be displayed and available for checkout. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Keyes Library.
Button Maker Craft

Have fun making your own buttons from magazine pictures, or bring your own.
Teen/Tween Pop Quiz
Where: Empire Library
When: Tuesday, September 22 - Thursday, September 24

Have fun answering the questions in our Teen/Tween Choice Pop Quiz. All who complete the quiz will get a small prize and their name will be entered in a drawing for a bigger prize.
Wii Game Day

Come play the Wii at the library.
All Ages Coloring Day
Where: Ceres Library

           3:30 p.m.


Come color your stress away. All ages are invited to color at the library. The library will provide coloring pages, crayons and markers. Finished artwork will be displayed.
Teen Duct Tape Craft
Where: Riverbank Library
When: Thursday, September 24
           3:30 p.m.


Teens are invited to create with duct tape.  A box of colorful duct tape is provided.  Books on duct tape crafts will be on display to use for ideas, or to check out for later. 
DIY Lip Balm
Where: Keyes Library
When: Thursday, September 24
           4:00 p.m.


Pamper yourself! Teens and adults can come to the  library to learn how to make their own lip balm. 

Free Knitting and Crocheting Classes
