Cover to Cover Club

IN-N-OUT’s “Food for Thought” reading promotional
program, recently renamed “Cover to Cover
Club,” begins March 6 and runs through April 17.
Children ages 4-12 can read five books, bring in
a list of the books and receive a coupon for one
hamburger or cheeseburger. This is a great program
that encourages children to read for fun.
See your local library to sign up.

Dia de los Ninos Celebration

Weaving Sunbursts

Name the Lizard

We have a new lizard at the library! Children, ages 3-14, are invited to suggest a name for this new Salida Library mascot. A drawing will be held at the beginning of the April to decide the winner. The winner will receive a gift card. Children will be introduced to the library and its holdings. They will interact with staff and will use their imaginations.

Read to a Dog

This free program is for independent readers up to age 12.
Children may preregister for a 20-minute session with a certified therapy dog.
Sessions will be held in the StoryTime Room at the Salida Library every Wednesday.
