Cover to Cover: In 'n Out Burger Reading Program
Saturday, March 7 - Saturday, April 18
Where: All Stanislaus County Library locations
Ages 4 - 12

Children can participate by signing up at any Stanislaus County Library branch. Write the book titles on a special reading log and after children read 5 books at their level, they get a certificate for a free hamburger or cheeseburger. Limit of 3 certificates per participant while supplies last.

Use long foam tubes to build the fastest super ball ramps ever. Measure to find out high a hill or how steep a curve your super ball can handle, and race the clock to swat the ball onto it's targets. The Friends of the Hughson Library invites all children third grade and younger to celebrate Dr. Seuss with games, stories, and goodie bags. Crazy 8's Math Club: Bouncy Dice Explosion

This week children can toss bouncy rubber dice to see what numbers they roll. They will also play War to see who’s the high roller. Finally, children will move onto a giant human Bingo board, where they will roll 3 dice and pick any number that could win. This program helps build math skills through fun activities.

Celebrate Family Literacy Night with Dr. Seuss

Independence Charter School’s Family Literacy Night comes to the Salida Library with crafts, a Dr. Seuss character photo opportunity and a focus on early childhood literacy skills. This program focuses on early childhood literacy skills and will model those skills for parents.

Children and their families can enjoy a family-friendly movie and picnic dinner at the Library. This month's movie is Dr. Seuss's The Lorax. This program is a part of the Salida Library's Tuesdays Are Family Days series. Children can come in their pajamas. Bring a picnic dinner and a blanket to sit on. The library will provide a beverage and popcorn. Books will be displayed and available for checkout.
